Create a source book for your inspiration. Start by writing a list of what you would like to achieve with your kitchen space in terms of practicalities. Consider the kind of cooking you like to do, how often you like to cook, and on average how many you are feeding?

CONSIDER IF YOU REQUIRE A SPECIFIC SEATING AREA IN YOUR KITCHEN?
Also question what you would like to achieve from your overall kitchen space? Do you need a dedicated seating or dining area? This consideration is of particular importance if your new kitchen is be used as a space for both cooking and entertaining in. An island or a peninsula island may be an option, providing additional cupboard storage and seating, whilst visually separating the cooking and socialising zones.
A PENINSULA ISLAND CAN BE BOTH PRACTICAL AND SOCIABLE.Don’t forget to mention to our designers how your kitchen is orientated, so that they can capitalise on available light and the views outside.
